TripDown ("the app") is made by Penelope Salaria ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: TripDown does not collect, track, or share your personal information.

What the app stores

When you add a countdown, the name, dates, and theme you choose are saved on your device only. The app and its Home Screen widget share this information locally so the widget can show your countdowns. We never receive it, and it is never sent to our servers or to anyone else.

What we do not do

• We do not collect personal information of any kind.
• We do not require an account, sign-in, or email address.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.
• We do not include third-party advertising or analytics code in the app.
• We do not sell or share data, because we don't have any.

Purchases

TripDown offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Unlock All Themes"). Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your payment details. The app only checks with Apple whether the purchase has been made, so it can unlock the themes.

Backups

Your countdowns live in the app's storage on your device. If you back up your device (for example, to iCloud or your computer), Apple's backup may include this data under your own Apple account. We have no access to those backups.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Because the app collects no personal data, we expect changes to be rare.
